Automotive photographer Andrew Link went to Japan equipped with an IQ180 digital back. With only 10 days to shoot a 160 image collection of 30 luxurious cars in 6 different locations across Japan, the Phase One system was the only choice.Working with $500k cars you cannot make any compromises, which is why Andrew relied on his Phase One camera system when pursuing the best possible quality.

Ted Grambeau is an action-sports-fashion-lifestyle photographer. He has spent the past 30 years photographing surfers around the world. More recently, a lot of his work has gone towards commercial underwater photography. We met with Ted to get a better understanding of how he overcomes the challenges of shooting underwater photography and how the Phase One camera system fits into his workflow.

Capturing great images 60 feet below ground in pitch darkness
We joined Chris Gale in the London Underground and witnessed him put the Phase One 645DF+ equipped with an IQ180 to the test. Working in the London Underground poses a number of challenges. Chris had to shoot everything on battery power and in almost pitch-black. On top of that the shoot had to be over and done within less than 3 hours. Automotive photography with Nathan D'Amour
Go behind the scenes with photographer Nathan D'Amour as he goes to Noble Automotive to help promote Mike Newman's fundraising for experiences for people with disabilities. Nathan is a big supporter of Mike's inspiring work and offered his time to help draw attention to Mike's Speed of Sight charity. Mike, a visually impaired driver himself, has dedicated his life to help others to fast and furious adventures. Nathan went to Noble Automotive to capture Mike's first meeting with the supercar Noble M600. Mike will later this year challenge the Guinness World speed record by driving unaccompanied in excess of 200mph.

Go behind the scenes with photographer Adrian Weinbrecht on a photo shoot for Hideout Leather."With the Hideout Leather shoot, the final images to be used at the motorcycle show were used at 2.4 meters high printed at 300 DPI. That was a very high quality printing process and when you go right up close to the images look absolutely amazing...We shot on an IQ180 back and the files were rezzed up at 230 %. We were pulling those files really big and this is something I just don't think you can achieve with a DSLR."

Tim Kemple’s photography is about authenticity, rawness, passion and place. He doesn’t take vacations. He pushes himself and his kit to the limits. Tim explains the lengths he went to on a recent shoot with some of the world’s best kayakers in Mexico."We were constantly battling the elements: bugs, rain, and slippery cliff edges. The most difficult part though was trying to be creative, and look at the angles with a fresh perspective... all while trying not to slip and fall, while its raining and you are getting eaten alive by bugs. Creativity under extreme circumstances I guess you'd call it!"
