PODAS Mexico Master Class

The ultimate Mexican adventure

This PODAS Master Class brings together two of our most popular instructors, Michael Reichmann and Mark Dubovoy, in a unique environment with a focus on advanced medium format photography and technique.

This workshop is limited to 12 attendees and will be held in beautiful San Miguel, Mexico. This amazing village will just charm you with its quaint streets, and photographic downtown. No matter where you walk or look there will be a great photographic opportunity. We will be doing a number of excursions to some magnificent locations where we can take our time and work towards perfect images. 

We have booked a beautiful little hotel for this event, and we have the whole facility just for us. We will be staying and meeting in the Villa Santa Monica Hotel. This charming hotel has two suites available and ten standard rooms. Suites will go to the first two people to book their reservations. You can check out this beautiful hotel on the video link here.

Because we are all experienced Phase One shooters we plan to get right into taking images and doing more advanced Capture One techniques. You can also count on Michael and Mark to show us a lot about using Phase One backs with technical cameras and about using some of the latest new firmware additions on the backs to integrate better with the Phase One cameras.

Also, we would like to have you bring digital files of your favorite images for a critique session or two. These will be informal and constructive and most likely enjoyed with a fine glass of wine. Information on what to bring will be sent upon registration.

We will meet in Houston, Texas and fly together to Leon, Mexico. Once in Mexico, we will be met and driven to our hotel. The agenda below is a rough idea of what you can expect. As with all PODAS workshops you’ll find plenty of time for good conversation and sharing. 

Your airfare from Houston, US to Leon, Mexico and back as well as lodging, food and beverage is all covered in the tuition. As with all PODAS workshops this a no worry workshop. All you need to bring is your gear and lenses, computer, tripod, CF cards and a willingness to have a good time taking pictures and enhancing our passion of photography.
