    Solution

    Windows (XP & Vista)
Phase One would like to recommend the following IEEE 1394/FireWire cards for use in stationary PC's.
    These cards are tested to be compatible with Phase One H 5, H 10, H 20, H 25, P 20, P 25 and the old lightPhase from BB03xxx and later.

    PCI cards
    • Belkin FireWire/IEEE 1394 PCI Card (Model 5U501)
    • Belkin FireWire 3-Port PCI Card (Model F5U502)

Other cards may work so long as they conform to the IEEE 1394/FireWire OHCI standards

    Vista
The following two cards passed our testing procedures and are commonly available. If everything is installed as it should be you should be able to see the device working properly in the Device Manager.

    SIIG FW 2PT PCIE Card / SII-NN-E20012-S2

IO Gear USB 2.0 Firewire Combo PCI Card / IOGEAR- GUF320

These two cards listed below did not pass our testing procedures:

LaCie FireWire PCI Card Mfg. Part: 107355

Belkin stopped supporting the Belkin FireWire 3-Port PCI Card FireWire adapter - 3 ports as of 9/1/08. Mfg #: F5U503V

Lacie by Sismo, Due to wrongful IEEE1394 implemenation the card does not conform to specification and does not function with Phase One camera backs.
Phase One has made Lacie aware about this issue.
Applies to Lacie item 130821 and 130822

However this specific card works well with Leaf Aptus backs.

XP SP3 is very similar in it comes to subroutines handling IEEE1394 communication.
We have not done any specific test when it comes to XP SP3 . Please contact the manufacturer about compatibility.

    Windows 7
Phase One would like to recommend the following IEEE 1394/FireWire cards for use in stationary PC's.
These cards are tested to be compatible with Phase One H series, P Series, P+ series, IQ 1 and 2 series and Leaf Credo series backs.

The following two cards passed our testing procedures and are commonly available. If everything is installed as it should be you should be able to see the device working properly in the Device Manager.
