Keywords Capture One Pro 8 allows keyword tags to be added as searchable metadata using a new dedicated tool, and adds the timesaving hierarchal keywording feature from Media Pro. Organizing images in Projects, Albums and Smart Albums will help you to locate images in Capture One, however when photographs are submitted to a photo-agency, stock library or client, your images will be stored according to their own procedures. While stock libraries will have specific guidelines for keywords, it is still good practice to adopt keyword tags to help find photos at a later date. The new K...

I just noticed that on my new albums added this week, the Exif info below each pictures now has the 35mm equivalent focal length. But the thing is, it's no where close to being right. For example, check this link. The exif says \"16.0mm (35mm equivalent: 124mm), f/2.8, 1.600 s, iso400\" 16mm is 25.6mm with a 1.6x crop camera, NOT 124mm!!! This only happens on Raw conversions with C1 Pro.When I use Photoshop CS2 Camera Raw, there is no (incorrect) 35mm equivalent shown. Where can this incorrect equivalent be changed/removed in the C1 Pro settings?

In version 3.7.4, the color tempreture and tint adjustments are backwards. Move the slider towards magenta and the image becomes more green. The color temp does the same thing with the warmer/ cooler slider. This software version is running slower than v.3.7.3 on my tower with dual 2.7 processor, 500 gig hd 4 gigs ram machine. It's frustrating when you click on an image that has been previously viewed that it has to res out every time you click on it. I think the cache is not functioning properly. It takes 10 seconds after the initial capture for the image to show up in preview compl...

Dear Phase One:I could use an additional timout value for Auto Preview and Backlight. The current timeout choices for Auto Preview and Backlight are: 5 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, and Always On.I find that 5 secs is often too short. However, I'd prefer to conserve battery and LCD usage more than the 30 second timout does. So, it would be really nice to have a 15 second timeout option added to both the Auto Preview and Backlight timeout menus?

I recently updated my system to dualcore Pentium extreme edtion (955), so it has two physical processors and four logical processors (each of the cores is hyperthreaded, yeilding 4 logical processors total). I use Widnows XP Professional SP2 with all latest updates. When running C1 3.7.4 and generating previews for Canon CR2 files, Task Manager indicated that only one of four processors is loaded, other three are at zero (or near-zero) load.\"Perform processing on single processor\" is unchecked in C1.While I have not checked, system should not be I/O bound. All involved disk drives (used ...

Greetings all,Recently while using my MBP with a unsupported firewire cable with built-in FW repeater. I noticed that the cable didn't feel a secure as it does in my G5, so i got an exacto blade at shaved off about a 1/16 of a inch of the outer shield by the firewie connector. Now the FW cable goes deeper in the MBP, based on that I tried 5 other firewire cable shaved off 1/16 of a inch, just to see if the cables work. All work fine & I can clearly see on 4 of the 5 that they go in deeper in the MBP FW port. It seems that my MBP 's FW ports a deeper than the FW ports on the G5 2.7ghz....
