Capture One crash after upgrading to Mac OS 10.6.3 if system serial number is invalid
When launching Capture One 4 or 5 on Mac OS 10.6.3 the application crash or quit unexpectedly. This only occurs on systems where the system serial number is a value with more than 12 characters, or a serial number is invalid (compare the serial ID that is located on your machine to the serial number in your system profile, make sure they match). This appears be the case when the system serial number doesn't have a valid number, but instead has a value such as "System Serial#", or "SystemSerialNumb". There is two possible solutions to this issue: 1. Revert to Mac OS 10.6.2 or earlier or 2: Contact Apple to Correct this issue and implament a correct Serial Number. For assistance to any of the two solution please contact Apple or your Apple reseller.
