According to the interview by michael over at luminous landscape the new camera made by P1 & Mamiya will have a new back mount. Why is that? I was hoping to be able to attach my P25 with AFD mount on it. Anyone at Phase care to comment please?I am happy to confirm that both the lens mount and the DB mount will remain unchanged from the AFD II, so your investment is secure. The new Phase One camera will be an open system.Regards,EricInteresting that you say \"The new Phase One camera\"The camera is not Mamiya but Phase One with Mamiya mount?Of course this is a rhe...

When I look at the histogram on the back (P1) and I see a bell curve near the dark side but not with any of the information clipped I go ahead and shoot. When I look at the same file in Capture one (or even Photoshop or lightroom) I see that the histogram is clipped on the left. A lot !This means that the histogram on the back is not the same as the one in Capture one which means that my pictures are too dark in reality even though they seen in limits on the back, histogram. Is this normal?taki1 wrote:When I look at the histogram on the back (P1) and I see a bell curve near the ...

The new D3 is not available to the public yet, but I hope to have mine in the next 2-3 weeks. I have been considering the purchase of Capture One software for my RAW workflow but I don't want to spend the money to buy it unitl I am certain an update will be coming along soon that works with the new D3 RAW files.Any idea how long it will be until an update can be expected??Thanks,JimJim,The D3 will indeed be supported, however a timeframe is unknown at this time.Earliest would be Final Release of Capture One 4.0 which is in Beta II stage right now and should be available around...

I realize you are working on a new pro version, but could you please consider your current clients who love C1 and are waiting for an update just so they can use their new cameras. I personally have been waiting almost two months for the 40D. You can see by the views and replies from previous posts that there is an issue here. I dont know all the technical stuff involved, but I think you would have some happy clients if you would at least update the new cameras. How long could it take? A day? An hour?2 months is nothing, I've been waiting for 2 years for X3F support. ...

Hello,I have just purchased C1 Pro, and use Windows XP and have a Canon 1DS. I have been trying a variety of combinations in the preferences in process settings and capture options and have been unsuccessful in getting the processed files to be renamed to include the session name, then a \"-\", then the last 5 digits of the DSLR RAW filename. The file names are only being named to a session name, then a \"-\", then \"001\" etc. In the Capture Options tab, I have checked \"Use cameras capture counter instead of local counter\". In the Process settings tab, I have default name \"Afric...

Hello,Is there any way that I can start with any number higher than \"1\"? The problem I'm encountering goes as follows: Long shoot with one file name only. First day we shot 800 images into one session. To keep things running smoothly and organized we decided to start a new session for Day 2. Same file name. How do I make the software start numbering at \"801\" instead of \"001\" in the new session. I realize I can rename everything when we are done shooting, but sometimes we process filesduring the shoot and the file number will not be correct if I rename everything when shooting is don...

There was a previous post about using b&w profiles. The link that provided as a response from Phase gives only a sepia profile and for the H25 not for the P25. Is there a b&w profile for the P25?One solution is to select greyscale from the list of output profiles in the batch tool window. This does the job.Damien.Here is a generic Black and White profile to be used with P25.ftp://ftp.phaseone.dk/DOWNLOAD/Support/PhaseOneBW.zip

Hello all:This is my first post in this forum. I am a recent owner of a used H25, and have a question that my dealer (Vistek in Toronto, CANADA) cannot answer.I use Broncolor lighting, and my Phase One dealer in Toronto told me that some of the Broncolor Infrared Tramsitters utilze too mich voltage, and is potentially hazardous to my H25 back. I am currently using the Broncolor IRI model, which seems to work fine, but I am not sure if the risk is still present. Would upgrading to a newer model, such as the IRX2, eliminate such risks? Can anyone reading this (including any tech support at P...
