Can we use Expodisc with C1 LE & C1 Pro softwares ? Does it work ?Bernard,It does work. All you need to do is use the Expodisc exposed frame to set white balance, then select the frames to which it relates, and apply that WB to them, using the \"overlapping files\" button at the top right of the White Balance Tab dialog.I used to use it all the time, but found a reflective reference close to the subject, such as WhiBal, at bit more convenient. Not having to remove the lens hood or reframe the shot being two advantages. I've also found the reflective technique to be closer t...

I'm using C1LE 3.5.2 on Win XP SP1 to process RAW data from my Canon 10D.Unlike Adobe Camera RAW, which (correctly, IMO) re-calculates the histogram every time you change the specified output profile (e.g. Adobe RGB, ProPhoto RGB), C1 appears to never relate the histogram to the o/p profile. So if you have a channel which is flagged as 'over-exposed' i.e. clipping, there's no way to see whether a larger output space would help, other than actually going through the conversion process and looking at the image in PS. This is time-consuming.(1) Is this a known problem/issue?(2) Which profile ...

Hello.I downloaded trial version of C1 Pro. I have Win2000, Pentium III 866MHz, 640MB RAM, Nikon D70s, which satisfies minimum requirements.Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see much of C1 because it was unresponsible almost all the time. When I selected the folder with around 100 NEFs, it started loading images which took more than 15 minutes and during all this time I couldn't do anything with it. Then, it started generating previews which took even more, I couldn't wait for it to finish, so I just CTRL-ALT-DEL stopped it.Does this happen to anyone else?I have RawShooter Premium running o...

I have two Power Mac G5 Dual 2ghz machines and one Powerbook G4 12\". All are running OS X 10.4.3 and C1Pro 3.7.2.The Powerbook can run C1Pro all day processing files and never crashes. Both G5 machines C1Pro will repeatedly crash in any of a number of situations. Most notable is Watermarking, which seems completely fubar'd. But even just switching out of C1Pro to another app and back seems to often cause it to crash. Is this software just dying on the vine, or will the be some kind of response from Phase One sometime soon?stevemaller,To get Technical Support you will have to Cre...

During SOME sessions I experience vertical white lines (when I shoot horizontally). Often these lines are accompanied by a bright magenta line. When this starts happening the problem gets progressively worse, with large black areas appearing in the image too.Sometimes restarting the computer and rebooting the back helps, but sometimes the only thing that will help is to switch to shooting untetherered - using the CF card.Has anyone encountered this, and what can be done?I have a P25 on a 645AFD.I have been experiencing the same issue with my P25. Just last week I sent mine in to...

Is this in the works? What i mean here is utilizing multiple computers, as in a \"render farm\", to make high-volume batch processing more efficient over a network. We deal with multiple shoots per day, with some clients requesting entire shootings as high-res tiffs, so you can understand the necessity...ThanksI'm not sure if raw conversions can be easily adapted to distributed processing. The network will probably become a bottleneck as the amount of data to move from computer to computer can be quite large. Packaging of individual tasks is, - I guess - , not trivial for raw fil...

Judging by the newsletter, the 3.6 Win version will not only be delayed relative to the Mac version, it will also lack some of the new features found in the Mac 3.6 (Before and After preview of an imageExport Image Index – create an HTML contact sheet)The floating focus window already in Mac 3.5.2 is apparently not in store for us Windows users.Does this mean that we have to convert to Mac to benefit from all features and facilities or will Phase One bring alignment between the two versions?Rather than being told that the delay is a matter of quality policy, I would like to see a straight...
