You bring visionary ideas, flawless code and a steady hand
As our new Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a big part in the ongoing evolution and roll-out of Capture One and other high-end commercial applications. Working closely with other Software Engineers, QA specialists and project managers, you design and implement features from user to code level. Drawing on your experience and expertise, you also act as a role model, providing encouragement and support for new profiles on your team, and as a technical sparring partner for your Software Engineering Manager. In addition, your tasks will include:
• Developing Windows software using .NET, C#, WPF and Visual Studio
• Working with modern tools like Git and the Atlassian suite including JIRA
• Refactoring, debugging and ensuring consistently high code quality
• Supporting team members to help them grow professionally
You combine experience, logic and a warm personality
To succeed in this position, you have a university-level degree in a relevant field or a convincing track record of successful development of large-scale, professional software applications.
You have at least five years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar, developing commercial application software, preferably on Windows.
Your excellent people skills make colleagues and partners want to follow your lead and look forward to working with you again. Your drive, positive attitude and good spirits are infectious, and you get your points across in excellent English.
