We currently use Phase One Pro v3.6 and v3.7 to process our RAWS. We then do final edits in PS CS and archive and catalog in Thumbsplus. During the processing phase it would be nice if we could process flagged files to a differnt folder than the rest of the images in the batch. This doesn't seem possible so I am looking for a workaround. Is it possible to process all of the images and have the flag somehow remain intact so that both PS and Thumbsplus are able to \"find\" tagged images?I am hoping that this is somehow easy. Our end of the line goal is to easily select the images that were f...

I'm using version 3.7 running os 10.3.9 on a G5.When I am in a session shooting tethered, the software will not use the new file name I enter. It will use the session name or any name in the list it remembers, but I cannot input a new name.As an example, I was shooting some headshots of about 10 people and I wanted to change the names with each new person. It wouldn't use the new names entered. This also happens on my powerbook.bcmuth,This should work properly. I'll take a chance and suggest the most simple answer to this.Be sure when you enter the New Name that you Tab Out to...

I am really impressed by C1 for image processing and for its algorithms. I have to convert some images made with an S2 Pro. It works fine except a confusion with the image size. In C1, the exif window information displays an image size of 3000x1992 pixels (considering a 6MP image). And Fuji or Photoshop consider the Raw file as a 3000x2008 pixels images. I have problem when processing output at 12MP. C1 allows me to set the size to 4256x2826 instead of 4256x2848 with the Fuji converter. Is it normal, or bad? While the result in term of image quality is correct?

I paid almost as much for Capture One as for my first full versin of Photoshop. Admittedly its market is much smaller, but on the other hand, it's purpose is extremely limited by comparison. That said, I'm very disappointed that for months now the Tiger/C1 combination has proven painfully slow, so much so that it is much faster for me to open large folders of images on my old Powerbook (Panther) than on my dual 2Ghz G5 (Tiger). On my G5 with Tiger, C1 appears to gobble up most of the processing power available, dragging any other open applications to the same painfully slow state as C1, wh...

The \"Set as Camera White Balance\" has been disabled in every version since 3.5.2. Before I install another version that I have to immediately uninstall, does anyone know if they've actually fixed this? This is a minimum for an upgrade. For us tethered shooters, even with the older versions we have to re-apply Crop, \"Film Style\" and exposure curves for each and every frame. It would be very nice if we could make these settings \"Stick\"....like you can on the Mac. Any progress?Version 3.7.1 is stabe on my machine, V 3.7 was not.So your saying that on 3.7.1, whe...

Which is the recommended procedure to upgrade? Is it better before uninstall the old version?ThanksI am happy problems with the upgrade on a Windows XP machine. The error message states there are unzipped files in the document, then it closes. Not sure what the problem is.Sorry about the spelling error. The word should be having problems...My preffered way is to install the new version in a different directoty and then test the version before skipping the old one. Maybe that's a bad habit from my software testing days but it gives you the opportunity to...

I am using C1 Pro 3.7 for Windows. I use two Nikon D1X's when I shoot a wedding. Just before the wedding starts I check to ensure that the camera clocks are set for the correct date and time. After I download the CF cards from both cameras into C1 I set the Thumbnail sort order to \"Date Taken\". Each time I do this the files from my camera appear first in the file list the files from the second camera used by my assistant appears after the file from my camera. If I have the Thumbnail sort set to \"Date Taken\" why doesn't C1 display the files from both cameras in the Date AND Time creat...

Yes, I did read the manual concerning that topic, but it mostly refers to the camera manual, in which nothing is mentioned... Anyway, does anyone have experience which to use best?My setting is on short latency, but...Please enlighten me cheers NicolasI was advised to use short latency. It has worked for me for the past 10 months. Shooting all day I get through 4 batteries for 500 - 700 frames on the H1.Short latency is the answer. Long latency is primerely used when shooting on large format cameras.

Beautiful, so the wonderful folks at Phase One are further deveoloping the \"Styles\" option available to Mac users. What a brilliant company this is. Don't take the time to explain why the folks on Windows based machines, who have paid the same money for your product, don't get to enjoy all the features. Just throw it out there, and continue to improve it.At least you could put a small asterisk next to windows version with a \"scew you\". You cease to amaze me.Brian
