A new generation of aerial systems deserves a new naming direction. PAS TRANA draws inspiration from Nordic maritime heritage and the Viking ships built to travel far, perform in demanding conditions, and accomplish their mission with precision. 

Named after the Trana, a crane-inspired Viking ship known for its elegant, purposeful proportions, the name reflects what this new generation stands for: compact, capable, and engineered for the mission. PAS TRANA marks the beginning of a new naming direction for Phase One aerial systems — rooted in our Nordic heritage and built for what comes next.

PAS TRANA is a family of compact, modular aerial mapping systems that combines Phase One imaging technology with flexible system configuration, intelligent data handling, and mission-ready performance. Designed for efficient aircraft integration and scalable operations, PAS TRANA enables operators to select the imaging capabilities, IMU options, and workflow that best fit their mission, all from a common platform. With IIQ-X, Hybrid Motion Compensation, and climatized housing, PAS TRANA delivers high-quality geospatial data with the flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements.

PAS TRANA combines high-performance aerial imaging with a compact, modular system architecture. Across four configurations — PAS TRANA 250, 250 Pro, 130 and 130 Pro — operators can select the imaging and spectral capabilities that fit their mission while benefiting from a common platform. The compact and lightweight design provides greater flexibility for aircraft integration, while flexible IMU options, climatized system housing, mission planning and flight management allow the system to be configured around different aircraft, applications and operational requirements.

High-resolution mapping generates significant amounts of data. IIQ-X is designed to make that data more manageable without compromising the image quality required for professional mapping. Efficient data handling supports faster acquisition and scalable workflows as mapping volumes grow — providing a strong foundation for established photogrammetric production as well as increasingly automated, cloud-based and AI-driven geospatial applications.

PAS TRANA combines Phase One imaging with technologies designed for demanding real-world aerial operations. Hybrid Motion Compensation (HMC) helps reduce motion blur during high-speed capture, while climatized system housing supports consistent operation across changing environmental conditions. Combined with advanced mission planning, flight management and positioning options, PAS TRANA gives operators the performance and confidence to take on a broad range of mapping missions.
