Instant image quality
Built around the largest, highest density medium format CMOS sensor, the iXH 250MP Camera System delivers the highest available imaging resolution. The sensor’s dynamic range of 14.5 f-stops captures the finest details and scientific color fidelity.
Industrial durability
The iXH 250MP utilizes Phase One’s Reliance Shutter and is guaranteed for one million actuations, while unlimited captures can be achieved in Electronic Shutter mode.
Emphasizing industrial build quality, made with aerial-grade aluminum and the most durable mechanical and electronic components available today. The integrated heat sink and cooling design maintain low operating temperatures for noise-free images and consistent results, even during long capturing sessions.
Fully automated, repeatable workflow
The full integration of hardware with Capture One CH software yields an efficient, professional workflow with precision results. Capture One CH offers complete camera control, reliable performance and expertly crafted RAW conversion algorithms, alongside purpose-built productivity tools such as automatic cropping and alignment tools for documents and books, and an automated workflow for scanning negative film.
PPI Assist accurately measures the distance to the object and enables easy positioning of the camera on any copy stand. The iXH records PPI, field-of-view and magnification, and when used with Autocolumn copy stands and Capture One CH, it is the only solution on the market capable of automated positioning for a specified PPI.
Tethering built for high volume
The iXH Camera System ensures fast reliable data transfer with the USB-C and 10G Ethernet connectivity. The tethering options additionally allow for advanced networking configurations.
Flexible formats and output
The iXH Achromatic and iXH WS (Wide Spectrum) combine the highest resolution and class-leading spectral sensitivity required for specialized scientific imaging applications, research and conservation of manuscripts, maps and drawings.
Capture in color, UV and IR. The iXH 250MP WS camera is the tool of choice for imaging applications such as paintings, medical and forensics. For added workflow and capture flexibility, simply add an IR block filter to convert the Wide Spectrum camera into a regular camera.
To suit the format variation in mixed collections, combine the iXH with a Phase One or Digital Transitions copy stand to quickly switch between large and small originals. Add a Phase One or Digital Transitions film capture stage, and transparent film and glass plates are readily digitized.
The flexibility afforded by the resolution, variable format output and color spectrum ensures that every collection and research project is ideally covered by a Phase One iXH solution.
High quality optics
The iXH supports several high quality lenses that meet the high demands of high volume flat copy digitization work.
The Phase One designed 72mm lens uses groundbreaking UltraRes technology to ensure perfect sharpness at all magnifications – optimized for 150MP and beyond. The motorized floating element increases precision at all apertures and magnification ranges, from 1:70 to 1:3.
The iXH also supports the Schneider Kreuznach 120mm lens. 21mm and 42mm extension tubes are available for close up capturing of film and small objects at higher resolution, and are designed and built with the same accuracy and quality as the camera body and lens.
In combination with the digital lens profiles of Capture One CH, the lenses offer the highest quality in terms of resolution, flatness, sharpness, lack of distortion and color uniformity required for the most demanding reproduction applications.
